Mental health challenges continue to have a devastating impact on individuals, families, communities and economies globally. Chronic mental illnesses are particularly harmful for youth as effects can last a lifetime, resulting in loss of hope, productivity and economic growth. Yet, varying stigmas and perceptions of mental illness across cultures prevent people from getting the care they need. Mental health is particularly essential to building resilience. And resilience, the ability to adapt, recover and grow in the face of adversity, is what enables change makers to maximize their impact and well-being. As a long-time advocate and expert, Johnson & Johnson is committed to be a leader in the next chapter in mental health and building resilient leaders on the front lines of care.
